Our Day at Knott's Berry Farm

We arrived at Knott's Berry Farm on our third day. It seems silly not to do ONE day. Knott's Berry Farm is only about 7 miles away from Disneyland after all. This park is the one to go to for fast thrilling roller coaster rides. There is "Camp Snoopy" for the little kids, but if it's rush you're looking for these 9 coasters will do the trick.
Pretty poinsettia tree.
We stopped at Pinks for lunch. Oh man, those hot dogs were SOOOO good.
Mine was chili, bacon, tomato and cheese.

I love it when they're nice to each other.

Morgan and I checked out some Camp Snoopy rides. This one is the hot air balloons.

Waiting in line for Ghost Rider. Aidan is now big enough to ride, and she did. I don't think she want to go agin anytime soon. It's very terrifying. I forgot how FAST it is, and by the time we were done I was panting and my heart was darn near beating out of my chest, I can only imagine how poor little Aidan felt! Morgan of course wanted to "go on the fast one". Sorry little buddy, maybe 4 more years.
Kelsey and Andrew gear up for a thrilling ride.

And here they are on the way back.

Definitely fun, right?

Aidan and I went for a ride in an authentic stage coach. It was kinda smelly, but fun.
Oh, and GUESS WHO taught her this pose?
Morgan found a buck board.
Waiting in line to go on a mining train ride.

Here's the log ride.
Riding the mine train.

More coaster fun at the Jaguar.

Morgan loved driving his big rig.
Aidan is spinning in the Mexican Hats (trying to make me sick [she did]).
Oh yeah, big huge Snoopy bounce house.
Morgan jumped in this thing for at least 40 minutes. No kidding.
Ye-Haw!
Doesn't my girl look like such a wild child? It reminds me of that Enya song by the same name.
On the Log Peeler. Aidan made silly faces each time she came around.

Aidan treated me to $2.50 worth of foot massage. She just kept popping those quarters in.
And she made sure Morgan and Kelsey got some too.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
This is the Pony Express coaster.
They strap you onto your own pony to chase your way around the track.

Happy 3rd day of vacation!

  1. Wow Deb - it looks like you guys had SO MUCH FUN!!! How wonderful you got to go to so many great places while your kids are still young. I can (vaguely) remember going when I was a LOT younger, lol.
