I look through my purse but the tissue pack was nabbed by one of the kids and I am defenseless. I use my hand instead and hope my mascara didn't fall prey to running everywhere.
I decide to go to lunch. It's such a pretty day. Sitting at the table eating by myself in the crowded noisy room only confirms my loneliness. Surrounded by people. Lots and lots of people. People havin conversations, or cleaning up a spill their child had made. Groups of girls friends out to lunch, the guys from the office grabbing a bite and I sit alone trying to not feel empty.
Another memory of Andrew. More tears. It's so draining. So exhausting. Will I ever not think about him? We are undeniably linked. I already know the answer. I just wish the memories didn't hurt.
