The Process of Grieving.

It hits out of no where. At the grocery store looking over cuts of meat and remembering how Andrew was an expert griller. He always made the meat taste better than anything I could do. So I walk along and the tears start. I try to blink them back but it's no use.

I look through my purse but the tissue pack was nabbed by one of the kids and I am defenseless. I use my hand instead and hope my mascara didn't fall prey to running everywhere.

I decide to go to lunch. It's such a pretty day. Sitting at the table eating by myself in the crowded noisy room only confirms my loneliness. Surrounded by people. Lots and lots of people. People havin conversations, or cleaning up a spill their child had made. Groups of girls friends out to lunch, the guys from the office grabbing a bite and I sit alone trying to not feel empty.

Another memory of Andrew. More tears. It's so draining. So exhausting. Will I ever not think about him? We are undeniably linked. I already know the answer. I just wish the memories didn't hurt.

YouTube Post Day

Seriously my favorite YouTube video right now. It's a cover of Goyte (go-tea-yay).  It takes some serious talent for 5 people to share one guitar.  Enjoy.

Inspirations

Kelsey and Morgan both entered Inspirations this year.  Morgan got a ribbon for participation for his painting "The Little Orange River" and Kelsey got first place for her choreography of "Morning" and is going to regionals.  I know she looks thrilled. huh?  She didn't want her picture taken-bwhahahahahaha!
What can I say? Love my talented kids :)
(even the one who didn't want to enter this year!)

Breaks are Good

Winter Break = a night at Chuck -E-Cheese
There was fine assortment of bling to choose from in the prize case.
Dontcha love the ticket machines that "munch" your tickets while counting them?

Kelsey and Morgan . So cute

It was great not having to rush because "it's a school night"!  Love vacations! Need I say more?

Christmas Eve

Just a few Christmas Eve pics.  The chocolate fondue was divine.  And the kids well behaved.  what more could you ask for?
