The Stages of Pictures

This is a scanned copy of our Christmas card. I'm sure you all go through the gammet as well. For us the most difficult thing is finding a time when Dad can be in the picture. Not to mention finding a theme and color coordinating everyone. This year we went for purple. The girls all are wearing purple dresses and my two guys have on purple ties. Since we went all formal-like I decided the Joseph Smith Memorial Building would be a good setting. After all it has a very grand and formal lobby. My sister in-law took our pictures and I took her families. We all piled into our mini-van and took off for down town. We were lucky to find a GREAT parking space right by the entrance. In fact we were able to leave our winter coats in the car, which was nice to not have to lug them around :)
This one is obviously our winner.
Here I busted out laughing at Morgan. He shouted "hooray" with both his hands in the air just moments before and I couldn't help myself.
Uh-oh, blinky eyes and Morgan's looking down.
This was sorta decent, but not the one.

eh...
So we tried a different setting. Morgan was starting to get disagreeable. It was around 5:00 pm and he was tired.
I'm thinking the background is just too white.

A contender...
Still not there.
Nope.
I think we've had enough of this spot.
Almost....
um nope
Morgan is protesting too much
Okay, we're done.
