What I did today

Woke up and got ready for the day

Cuddled with Aidan

Got Morgan his morning bottle of milk

Tried to get my Husband to finish the base board project

Took my shot (diet)

Told Kelsey to look around some more to see if she can find her lost glasses.

Tried to get my husband out of bed, again.

Got Morgan dressed

Started a load of laundry

Told Aidan and Kelsey to get dressed (still no glasses)

Tried to get my husband out of bed

Dried the finished laundry, put in another load to wash

Found lasagna and bread sticks on the kitchen counter

Threw out said lasagna (Andrew brought it in and apparently the counter is the new "Fridge")

Cleared papers from kitchen counter

Cleaned out the fridge ( the real one)

Tried to get my husband out of bed

Emptied the dishwasher and loaded dirty dishes

Andrew stumbled out of bed (hooray full bladder!!!)

Hung up laundry from dryer and put wet clothes in.

Aidan and Andrew made some sweet rolls for breakfast, I didn't have any

Went to Costco with Kelsey, had her eyes examined, got food for primary children's lunch tomorrow

Came home and made 48 sandwiches. Ran out of mayo and ran to my neighbors to borrow some.

Made Morgan scrambled eggs.

Made BBQ pork sandwiches for the girls and Andrew
Made shrimp and salad for me (Diet)

Cleaned up lunch dishes and gathered dirty dishes from around the house, started the dishwasher.

Made homemade invitations for the primary Priesthood Preview, had just enough ribbon!

Started third load of laundry

Tried to put Morgan down for a nap while Andrew took the girls to a movie (First time they'd seen their dad since Sunday night, but that's a DIFFERENT blog entry altogether!)

Took out the recycle

Gave someone directions to find an address

Put new liners in the trash cans

Put on a movie for Morgan

Tried to get Morgan to sit on the potty

Called ward members to make assignments for talks for the Priesthood Preview

Called my brother to see if I could have a limb from his tree.

Put dishes away

Took 2 different calls regarding a primary teachers training meeting

Went to my brother's house and got said tree limb

Took a call from the sister who puts together the Sacrament Meeting Program. Glad she called because I needed to put 2 things in the announcements section.

Met my husband and girls at the Mayan for Kelsey's birthday dinner

Stopped at JoAnns Crafts- didn't have Plaster of Paris

Went to Walmart (I HATE Walmart) -found 8 whopping pounds for $5.00 Yipee!!!

Came home with all the kids.

Found Andrew's mouse to use for my laptop

Put laundry in the dryer

Typed and printed the Priesthood Preview outline to give to the bishop tomorrow

Organized my church bag

Went in attic to find the old planter

Mixed Plaster of Paris for tree branch

Set tree branch in Plaster

Cleaned up the mixing mess

Punched holes in the die-cut leaves for our "Thankful Tree"

Found fall colored pipe cleaners to attach leaves to tree limb

Cut pipe cleaners into 4ths, packed into my church bag

Put the kids to bed

Folded the laundry

checked my e-mail

Found out some key people from the kid's school have stepped down from certain positions

returned 4 e-mails

Checked some blogs and left some comments

Typing my blog and trying to think of the best way to respond to my husband when (IF) I see him tomorrow. Lord help me, cause I don't know what to do. There's still Festival of Trees, sharing time, who to call for primary workers, and 300 other things. Will my life ever slow down?

Sorry all,

I guess I'm just tired and in a fit of self pity. Tomorrow is another day.

  1. Sounds like a busy day. What is a priesthood preview. Is it New Beginnings for boys? Good luck with your program. I hope you will post about your thankful tree. We do one every year but I didn't bring our tree to MN with us so I am trying to come up with something new.
