Festival of Trees Craft Day

For those who don't know, I help with Festival of Trees. This is my 5th year. Every fall our committee holds a craft day to make our contributions for Festival. Each committee is responsible for 300 felt fabric characters for "Small Fry". These are cut, sewn, and glued then stuffed with candy. They are sold in the Small Fry section at Festival of Trees for $1.00. This year we had Bert from Sesame Street. Gotta love the uni-brow!

We also are making a tree for baby Joseph who passed away soon after his birth. His mother, Rebecca, has been on our committee since it started. His tree is blue, silver, and white. We have been making star ornaments and have been busy finding decorations we can use. I can't tell you how often we've been to the craft store!
If you would like to attend Festival of Trees, I am selling discount tickets (ah the perks of being a committee member). Please let me know. Festival is very short, only four days, December 3-6, but ALL the proceeds go to Primary Children's Hospital, so it is definitely worth your time.
Also, if anyone has a small side table about 30-36 inches high that you'd be willing to donate to Festival of Trees, please let me know. And please let me know about the tickets too (It'd be a great Family "home" evening) . For more info check out http://www.festivaloftreesutah.com/.
Thanks all,
Debbie
