Aside from the toll of daily life, such as:
cleaning, dishes, laundry, organizing, shopping, cooking ect... Here's what's been going on.
1. Had my teeth whitened
2. Called in someone to repair our drywall
3. Picked out new paint color for the front room
4. Attended/chaperoned the Girl Scout Cookie Award Party (in the photo above)
5. RSVP'd to a wedding shower
6. Bought gift for that shower
7. Had visits from Morgans advisor/coordinator from PIP (for his hearing-loss)
8. Delivered Girl Scout Camp registration
9. Went to a family reunion
10. Volunteered to host next years reunion [with my sister:)]
11. Had a fabulous Father's Day dinner. (On the Friday before, I gathered some plastic plates and napkins and bowls, and thought I was done. Sunday came and as I was setting up tables I just couldn't use the disposable stuff. Kelsey helped me get the china up from downstairs and the crystal. Heck, I even used chargers. I've never used them before; I have them; and I thought it was high time. Of course I used cloth napkins-my favorite. It was an elegant dinner, and it was fun to host it in my house. There were 14 of us all together. One day though, I will have a dining room with a table that seats 20!)
12. Went with my cousins twice removed to Hollywood Connection, they were visiting from Saint George. There were 7 kids and 4 grown-ups and 6 hours of fun. Oh yeah, and then I went and had Activity days for the girls in our ward at 6pm that night.
13. Prepared food for and attended the girls Girl Scout Award party. Kelsey and Aidan worked hard this year and got many, many, patches. Now I have to break out the iron, and get 'em on their uniforms.
14. Went with my sister to a wedding gown fitting.
15. Had my hair highlighted. It felt great, especially since my hair hasn't been done for a year now-Thanks Emily M. :)
16. Had 2 or 3 primary presidency meetings to plan and coordinate schedules, teachers, etc.
17. Taught a sharing time, with more to go.
18. Prepared treats and a lesson for our ward primary teacher training.
19. Arrived early for said training to set up chairs, ect.. Gave my lesson.
20. Got some visiting teaching appointments set and done, sadly couldn't get all 5 on my list this month.
21. Got my temple recommend renewed!
22. Went to ward choir practice
23. Got the oil changed in the car
24. Washed the car and vacuumed it
25. Paid bills
26. Went to the post office
27. Picked up and installed our yearly water filters, flushed the lines myself.
29. Unclogged the kitchen sink, cleaned out the U trap
30. Unclogged the bathroom sink, cleaned out the U trap (Way grosser than the kitchen, believe me, you don't even want to know)!
I've got more to do before the month is over, but then again, don't we all.
Wishing all you readers the best of luck getting your list of to-do's crossed off.
Debbie
Oh Oh Oh....I want to whiten my teeth! I guess that's what you get if you are brave enough to mess with the drains in sinks. Yuck! I hope wedding preparations are going well. Sounds like fun!
