My darling in-laws hosted a Valentines dinner for all their kids and spouses (lucky me!).
My mom in -law had ALL the kids down stairs while we grown- ups enjoyed a 5 star meal upstairs. There were 5 courses I believe. If I was thinking I would have taken a picture of each one. The meal was served on Andrew's grandmothers china. The appetizer was her recipe, a frozen grapefruit slush/sorbet which she served every Thanksgiving. i have it in the family recipe book, but have never made it. It was delicious. There was also a butternut squash bisque, a fabulous gourmet salad with blue cheese crumbles, dinner of Crusted chicken, cheesy mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, mango pepper chutney and fresh hot rolls. I can't remember what dessert was, but it was delicious. My father in-law also made a really fantastic cucumber punch. It was so refreshing.
