It reminds me of the Primary song "Autumn Day" (remember when it went "Autumn day, bright and gay, God gives riches gifts today."? That was when gay still meant something respectable. Sad :(

Like your rhyming poem about the snow. I HATE the snow as well! Fortunately for me I won't have to deal with it this year since I live in Mesquite NV...
