Museum of Ancient Life

We had a fun day at the Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point last Wednesday with Sara and cousin Will and Adri.
Waiting in the foyer.
Dinosaur bones.
Big fish in the water.

Morgan was so happy.
Morgan and Adri are putting together dinosaur puzzles.

A stream with real fish and more dinosaur bones.

Cool skulls

Will looked so cute sitting at the computer. He was making a dinosaur and choosing the different colors for it's legs and body.
All the kids were in heaven at the wet sand an water play table. I have video below. Heaven on earth for Morgan.
Kelsey was building a dam.

Morgan wasn't too keen on sitting for this picture.

More bones. Another Aidan picture. Saber-tooth tiger perhaps?
This is in one of the rooms dealing with oceanic life.
Aidan took these pictures of cave-men hunting a mammoth.
She liked this one of the mammoth squishing the cave man who fell underneath his leg.

She's got the whole world in her hands...
Kelsey wanted a picture of me too, but Morgan had just hit Will and we were in the middle of the hallway with people trying to get by and I was trying to make Morgan apologize to Will and well, I look kinda grumpy!
Don't forget Aidan.
In the room before the exit is this excavating pit. Two giant sand boxes where kids take paint brushes and uncover dinosaur bones.
Too much fun.

Kelsey decided she was going to bury hersef.

Toes peeking out.
Morgan took his little matchbox car and buried it and uncovered it like 200 times. I was afraid he was going to lose it in all that sand, but every time I asked him where his car was, he uncovered it and showed my right where it was. I'm amazed he could keep track of it.
