We met Grammy and cousins for a picnic lunch at Wheeler Farm on Saturday
Kelsey was our tree monkey.
Monkey see, monkey do.
Heading to the farm
The kids loved to play in the tree house. I remember playing in it too when I was a kid. There are two levels, and you had to crawl up a board with 2x4's nailed to it (akin to a chicken coop ramp) to reach the second level. Now there are some stairs which lead up.
Aidan and Grammy sitting on an old wagon by the tree house.
Feeding ducks was the first highlight for Morgan. He was so excited. Screams and squeals of delight. He absolutely LOVED it!
We also went on a wagon ride. It was so beautiful. The wagon was pulled by a tractor, which brings me to.... (4 pictures below)
Not a bad shot considering I was riding in a bumpy wagon.
Highlight #2. Tractors. Morgan was in heaven. There were three tractors to climb on and play with levers and knobs and steering wheels. He did not want to leave.

Having a "wheelie" good time. These things are like jungle gyms I tell you.
Below are some of the livestock we saw. Morgan liked that too.
Here is the old farm house. We didn't take a tour because we were heading back to the car with everyone all hot and tired. Next time though we'd like to take the tour of it.
I just love this drive. I can just imagine how it would have been to drive a horse and buggy down the long tree-lined lane.
This shot is just so fun with everyone gulping down drinks. These kids walked so far and it was quite warm. Hooray for a cooler full of icy drinks. Thanks Grammy Rose for a fun-filled outing. We love you :)
All of these clips are 60 seconds or less (I think) Enjoy!
