Happy birthday Alice. On Saturday the 21st the Davis clan came to celebrate Grandma's birthday. The kids helped me clean the house and backyard. Andrew trimmed and mowed the grass! We set up our extra table and had seats for 16. In the backyard the kids played and roasted marshmallows in the fire-pit. We had swedish meatballs, rice, mixed veggies, breadsticks, jello and green salad and Tyler made eclairs for dessert.
Rosalie had even found some videos of grandma telling her history, and she set up a TV for her to watch it. It was a fun night.
Sounds like a blast! You have a firepit? Was it there when you bought teh house or did you install it yourself? Very cool. Marshmellow and wienie roast at your place!
ReplyDeleteI should have said fire bowl. It's portable and raised off the ground and you just add wood.
