Aidan's party was Nancy Drew. We cut her invitation into puzzle pieces so the kids would have to "solve the puzzle" to read the invitation. The kids came and watched the movie.
This is my attempt at "I hope I can figure it out" written on the cake. The thing on the left is supposed to be a magnifying glass. The frosting was being fussy I tell you!
The kids had pizza and a veggie tray for dinner.
They did a scavenger hunt, then Aidan opened her presents.
Next it was cake time. If you know me, I don't do cake and ice cream. I usually do cupcakes and creamies, but Aidan was specific that she wanted a Nancy Drew cake, so it was cake and creamies. I love creamies. Ice cream on a stick. Much less messy.
Aidan also wanted a party with only boys. Sister and mom don't count of course, but never again I say....they were so noisey! What was I thinking. :)
Cool cake! Looks like all who came had fun! Maggie's birthday is probably going to be this next Sat!
